OREGON Brazil Averages $1 Million Daily From Progress Alliance Since 1961 Rio de Janeiro -DPB- The Alliance For Progress has lent, or given, Brazil an aver age of more than $1 million a dav since July 1, 1961. Figures released by the American embassy show that he United States government has advanced $652 million and the Inter American Develop ment bank has lent $56 mil lion in the period ending May 18 - a total of $709 million in ( 686 days.
