Pass, warned forest users this
summer to be especially care

any fire escaping control.

In addition to the extra
amount of burnable material
thrown on the ground by the
Columbus Day storm, Mans

has added further fuel to the
fire hazard with an unusually
heavy growth of grass, form

Dunn, FBI, Medford, and Lar
ry Aschenbrenner, Josephine
county district attorney, who
discussed "Trespass-Law En

course for experienced per

"Youth, Incorporated" to pro

was started this week at a
meeting in Medford.
About 40 people, most of
them mothers, helped select
a partial steering committee
and decided to appoint addi
tional representatives of var
ious geographical areas of the
country.
Basically, the organization
will be patterned after simi
lar ones in large cities which
locate jobs for teenagers, keep
job records and provide adult
supervision and guidance. A
junior steering committee con
sisting of teenagers selected
will function under the adult ed a centrally located down
committee. I town office, office furniture
donated. Bill Stamps, Med
ford, acting chairman, urged
the group to expedite their
organization to be ready when
school closes in June.
"The problem will be in
creating jobs, not in getting
the youngsters to work," he
predicted.
An attorney will be asked
to voluntarily work out the
legalities of the organization.
The teenage participants will
set up their own rules, the
group generally agreed. A
small membership fee will be
charged to help offset ex
penses. John Crabb, distributive
