1 That a special election will
be held in the Rogue River Valley
Irrigation District. Jackion Coun
ty, Oregon, on Friday, the 14th
day ol June. 19(33. between the
hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m. and
6:00 o'clock p.m. in the office of

Medford, Oregon, which special

The minimum acceptable bid per
M board feel is as follows: Douglas-fir

sugar pine and ponderosa pine

$11.55. This Includes the follow
ing rates, per M board feet for
stumpage. including deposit for
sale area betterment: $19.95 base
rate plus an additional $7.70 for
Douglas-fir: $14.30 base rate plus
an additional $9.30 for western
while pine, sugar pine and pon
derosa pine: $3.45 base rate plus
an additional $5.70 for white fir
and other species; and $2.40 for
slash disposal for all species. The
stumpage rates payable for each
species will be increased by the
amortization rate in effect for
that apecics when the unamortized
estimated cost of the main haul
roads has been amortized by tim
ber scaled. The unamortized es
timated cost is $2,670.00. Amorti
zation rates arc: Douglas-fir, $0.92
per M board feet; western white
pine, sugar pine and ponderosa
pine. $0.78 per M board feet; and
white fir and other species. $0.27
per M board feet. Amortization of
estimated main haul road costs is
computed on 100 per cent of the
estimated timber volume. In addi
tion there is within the sale area
an unestlmated volume of Douglas-fir,
logs and peeler blocks,
unmerchantable because of defect
which the bidder may agree to
remove at $0.50 per M board feet,
gross scale. The prices bid for
stumpage shall be considered as
tentative rates subject to quarterly
calendar adjustment upward or
