Friday. All such fires should
be attended they warned.
Tools Taken - Two power
saws, two long measuring
tapes and a pair of boots were
reported missing from the
contractor's office at the new

Friday in a local hospital. Pri

Survivors include her hus
band, Allen B. Drury: three
daughters, Mrs. Laura Porter

Clyde H. Weaver, of Yreka,
Calif., died Friday in a local
hospital. The body was re

13. 1918. in Wyanet, 111., and
had lived for several years
in southern Oregon.
He was veteran of 22
years service in the United
States Army, first enlisting
in 1936. serving in the Afri
can campaign in World War
II, and the European Theater
of Operations. He also served
in the Korean Conflict, retir
ing from the Army in 1988.
Survivors include two sons,
Michael W. Young, and Stev
en E. Young; three daughters,
Rhonda Lea Young, Barbara
Jean Young, and Patricia Ar-
lene Young; and a sister, Mas.
Ray Brownrigg, all of Med'
ford.

Annie Adelaide Haughton, of

Mrs. Dorothy Edna Applin,
80, of. 9 Corning court, Med
ford, died Friday in a local
hospital.
She was born Sept. 25, 1882,
In Illinois, the daughter of
the late Jacob R. and Martha
Patterson.
On Dec. 24, 1911, in Port
land, Ore., she was married
to Col. Frank D. Applin, who
survives. She had been a res
ident of this community since
1947. Mrs. Applin was a mem
ber of St. Mark's Episcopal

1945.
Prior to his admittance to
the VA Domiciliary, White
City, in July, 1961, ha was
employed as a maintenance
worker. He is survived by one
brother. Rex Bridgeman, Sac
ramento, Calif.

Stanley, 86, of Eagle Point,
who died Saturday, will be
held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at
Perl Funeral home. Interment

Mr. Stanley was born Oct
28,' 1876, in Sheldy county,
Iowa. He moved to Eagle
Point with his parents 75
years ago. He had been a
rancher and stockman in the
Eagle Point area nearly all of
his life.
He was member of the
Lak Creek Grange and an
honorary member of the Big
Butte Stockman's association.
Survivors include two
brothers, J, H. Stanley, Eagle
Point, Ralph Stanley, Mon
tana; several nieces and neph
ews. Three brothers and two
sisters preceded him In death.
