search training seminars will
be sponsored this summer by
the University of Oregon s In
stitute of International Stud
ics and Overseas administra
tion.
One of the programs, all of
which arc financed with
funds from the Carnegie
Corporation of New York, is

The three research groups,
all under directors who have
had previous research ex
perience in Central and South
America, expect to spend the
entire summer on their field
projects, according to John F.
Gange, director of the Insti
tute of International Studies
and Overseas administration.

A new rate for cattle has

slight decline in the 1962 tall
cattle market, while the
sheep market did not fluctu
ate sufficiently to he reflected
in the fees charged for sheep

view of this and, in order to
allow ample time for pay
ment, billings have now been
processed and mailed to the

Vehicles Involved in
Highway 238 Accident
Vehicles operated by John
E. Adams: 69, of Sterling
route, box 19A, Jacksonville,
and George Richard Trites,
54, of 495 Ray lane, Ashland,
were involved in an accident
on Jacksonville hill on High
way 238 earlier this week.
Police said Adams was
taken to Sacred Heart hospi
tal with leg and hand in
juries. Trites, police said, de
clined medical attention for
a facial bump.

Southern Oregon college cam

Christlieb will highlight the
general session at 9:30 a.m.

the SOC panel discuss "You
and College" at 1:30 p.m. At

science hall and Britt Student
center.
