in southern Oregon. He was
educated in the Grants Pass
schools and on Aug. 21, 1930, J
was married to Ellen M.
Franco of Ashland, who sur
vives. He was employed by the
Greyhound Lines until 1941 1
when he became Civilian Post
transportation officer at Camp j
White for the duration of
World War H. In 5947 he
entered mining exploration
and development in Oreson. i

Jan. 22, 1884, at Wymore.
Neb. He moved to Shady Cove
in 1902 with his parents from
Imperial, Neb. He moved is
Medford in 1923 where has
had made his home since that
time.
He was a farmer, a lumber
mill employee, and an em
ployee of the United States
forest service for several
years
