The bolile-shapcd Polaris was triggered from the Thon as Jefferson. The missile ended in a fail. ure within seconds, it was re ported. There was no indica tion, however, as to exactly what went wrong. This was another "secret" firing of the Polaris, and was not even carried on the re leased range schedule this week. Showtime on "2" Relocation Bill Passed by Senate Salem -IUPU- People thrown out of their homes and busi nesses to make way for high ways should get some finan cial help, the Senate decided Thursday. The Senate voted unani mously for a bill to authorize the State Highway commis sion to help pay moving costs for persons forced to relocate because of highway construc tion. It provides for payment of up to $200 for persons forced from their homes and up to $11,000 for persons forced from farms or businesses. The bill went to the House. The problem was the sub ject of Congressional hear ings In Portland and other cities last year. Sen.
