Veis Reminded
Of Tax Exemption
On Their Property

ficer, has issued a reminder
to disabled war veterans and
widows of war veterans that
they must apply for their an
nual state property tax ex-
emptions on or before April
1, the legal deadline.
The exemption amounts to

filed each year on or before
the deadline with the county
assessor of the county in

the law, the same as the vet

exemption on their home
steads, based on taxable value,
Donahoo said.
Any honorably discharged
veteran of the Spanish Amer
ican War, the Philippine In
surrection or the Boxer Re
bellion, regardless of disabil
ity, also is eligible. There is
no income limitations to be
considered In these cases.

Concert Set By
Lewis, Clark Choir
The Lewis and Clark col
lege choir, Portland, will pre
sent a concert starting at 8
p.m. Friday, March 22, at the
First Presbyterian church in
Medford.
Medford will be the 13th
stop in the choir's 15th an
nual tour of Oregon, Cali
fornia and Nevada.
The choir, which sings
without accompaniment, is
under the direction of L. Stan
Icy GliTiim, chairman of the
music department or iewis
and Clark college. Glarum is
well-known for his composi
tions and arrangements, many
of which are sung throughout
the United States.
The annual tour of the choit
is a tradition of the college
and audiences have asked re
turn engagements. The roper
tnire of the rhoir is composed
of outstanding cliorai compo
sllinns both sacred and secu
lar. As National Presbyterian
Choir of the Year in lf(2,
the 60 singers appeared in
concert at the National As
sembly of the church last May
in Denver.

choir is Lynn Peterson, daugh
