A group of members from
Boxy Ann court, Order of the
Amaranth, honored Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Hoppe at a sur
prise dinner party at Kim's
restaurant Sunday, February
10. The Hoppes left Friday,
February 15, to spend three
weeks in the Hawaiian is
lands. About 00 guests attended,

many nonsense presents. The
group sang Hawaiian songs to
end the evening.
The next meeting of the
court will be Thursday, Feb
ruary 21, at the Medford Ma

Butte Falls Couple
On Southwest Trip
Butte Falls-Mr. and Mrs.
Een F. Moore left recently
for a mon'h"s trip to visit
friends and relatives through
out California and Arizona.
They also plan to visit in
Mexico accompanied by their
younger daughter and her
husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Hanks and children, former
Medford residents, who now
live in Brawley, Calif.

From Trip South

returned to their home on

from spending two months in

Miss Simon is a graduate of
the University of Oregon,

honor society, and Pi Lambda
Theta, education honor group.
Mr. Swanberg is a graduate
of the University of Washing
ton, and has done graduate
work at that school and in
Germany. Both the bride-elect
and her fiance teach in the
public schools of Yelm, Wash.

choral music and dramatics
and he teaches German and
English and is an assistant

Women's Council Plans
Workshop in
The first annual workshop
of the Women's council of the
Oregon State chapter, Na
tional Association of Real
Estate Boards, ever to be held
in southern Oregon has been
announced for July 27 in the
Rogue Valley Country club.

one-day meeting.
At the present time Oregon
has eight local chapters with

bership of 24.
The 1963 elected officers
