established a bulging lead
with a sizzling first period
and commanded the third and
fourth quarters to record its
second victory In four confer

without a taste of triumph.
The Black Tornado, which
opened up with a .545 first
panel from the field, hit .516
for the game. It fired .800
from the free stripe.
Twelve field goals from 22
shots, plus a gift toss gave the
Hurricanes a 25 to 7 first
quarter margin. The Grizzlies
lust never were a threat. They
did outscore the Mcdtoras IB

Detflcy and Larry Vowell

Hill and Miles they formed a
well-knit combination. Along
with bolstering the Tornado
offensive punch, they teamed
with Miles in harassing the
Grizzlies in their back court
and came up with steals that
bulwarked the Medford domi

But Medford pulled away
on a pair of basnets by Def
