E. Ronald Rice will be In stalled as governor of the Pacific Northwest district of Kiwanis International and Dr. Merle Foland as lieuten-ant-governor of Division 15A. Officers of the Medford club for 1963 will be seated. The 7:15 p.m. dinner will be followed by a dance. Freeman Sersanous, Port land, past district governor will Install Rice who In turn will Install Foland. Dr. Fo land will conduct the Installa tion of club officers. Both Rice and Foland are members of the Medford club. New Officers Medford Kiwanis officers for this year are Curtis Nes heim, president; Russell Ren ner, vice president; Glen, Allen, secretary-treasurer, and Kenneth Wright, Clarence ' Young, Dr. Douglas Philips, Edward Barnett, Robert Col lins, Fred Gatter, Adam Rich ter and Lawrence Horton, board of directors. Billy Blackstone, retiring president, also will serve on tha board of directors. A club charter will be pre sented by Charles Walker, Portland, a past district gov ernor. It will replace one which has been lost. William Warner, first president of the Medford club will accept the new charter. Walker was dis trict governor at the time tha Medford club was organized and handed the original char ter to Warner. Reservations have been made for 60 out-of-town guests. Nesheim conducted his first meeting as president at the Wednesday noon Kiwanis luncheon at the country club. He outlined plans for the year and announced names of com mittee heads. John F. Rowbottom and Norman B. Henkleman were introduced as new members. Rowbottom is associated with Laurentide Finance and Hen kleman has a bookkeeping service. .
