Mrs. Colburn said a rare
phase of mediumship was re
vealed to her about 12 years
ago. It is the sculpturing in
clay of faces or heads of
those who have died - people
she had never seen or known,
Some were made while she
was in trance and some under
control, she stated
Mrs. Colburn emphasized
that she has no idea who
these faces or heads are. She
stressed that these clay mod
els are never sold. She ex
plained that: she has letters
from people who believe they
recognized the models as peo
ple who have died.

she was born with the knowl
edge of spiritualism and be
gan study at the early age of
five years. Her first teacher
was her grandmother. Mrs.
Colburn Is a graduate of Mor
ris Pratt Institute, While Wa
ter, Wis., and has passed the
examinations for mediumship,
licentiate and ordination with
the national board.

new chapel for one she pas
tored In San Diego, Calif.
Following Colburn's retire
ment, they traveled through
out the united States, prior
to making their home in Gold
Hill.

During the open house

of the cross, baptismal font,
