Hatfield's Budget Slated for More Trouble at Legislative Fiscal Parley

posed by Gov. Mark Hatfield
for the 1863-65 biennium faces
further bombardment next
week when the legislative fis
cal orientation conference is
held here.
The Monday - through-Wednesday
meeting of legislators
with the Legislative Fiscal
Committee is being held "to
consider the revenue and ex
penditure programs for the
1963-6S biennium."
All 90 of the state's legis
lators have been invited.

arrested by state police in the
Sidney area eight miles south
of here.
Officers said the victim of
the robbery attempt was Ed
ward L. Hatfield, manager of
Erickson's Supermarket.
Hatfield said he received a
call at the store about 5:15
p.m. from a man who said
Hatfield's wife and two chil
dren were being held hostage.
The caller directed Hatfield
to take all the money from
the store and leave it at a
stop sign at Liberty and Jory
rds.
The arrest was made after
the money was delivered.

Churches To Stage
Nativity Scene
A tableau of the nativity
scene will be held each eve

churches under the auspices
of the Medford Ministerial as
sociation. The tableau will be held in
Medford city park across
