to submit ballots on an all
opponent basis. Tabulation
was by the Mail Tribune
sports department. In the of
fensive tabulation two points
were given for a first team
vote and one for second team
selection. Defensive poll was
on a single point per .vote
basis.

Glines. Comet quarterback,
is the only repeater from the
1961 first offensive all-star
team. Hammons and Isabell
moved up from the second
team. Griffin and Neathamcr
repealed on the defensive
team.

campaign to 3-0 by rolling to
a 101-70 victory over St. Fran
cis (Pa.) Thursday night at
South Bend, Ind.
John Matthews, a senior
guard, scored eight points in
the first six minutes to help
Notre Dame to a 56-31 lead
at halttime. Matthews wound
up with 20 points.
Sandy Williams of St. Fran
cis also scored 20 to match
Matthews for game scoring
