OREGON TRUCKS DESTROYED - The ruin of some 40 trucks de ll royed when fire swept through an ice cream factory in Chicago are seen amid the wreckage of the plant. The trucks were valued at $13,000 each. Some 300 persons were evacuated from nearby homes during the blaze. The federal food stamps, ranging In denominations from 50 cents to $20, will be sold at less than face value to the needy. They will purchase food at face value at local gro cery stores. The government will pay the difference, Doug Ycaler, supervisor of, the program, said some $672,-j 000 worth of stamps, about a BO-day supply, were delivered to Multnomah county this week.
