Club The Antelope 4-H achieve ment meeting was held re cently at the Eagle Point Grange hall. There was a pot luck dinner before the meeting. Officers were elected. Jary Hansen was elected president; Dale West, vice president; Cheryl Swaim, secretary; Dar rcll Stanley, treasurer; Don na Nevin, songleader; Jenni fer Nevin, game leader; Judy Hill, gift chairman; Kathy Pritchard, reporter. Jerry Brog from the county extension office introduced Don Bean from the Medford branch of the First National hank. He presented pins to members in recognition of the years they had participated in 4-H work. The National 4-H Club Con gress delegate award was pre sented to Georgia Hubbard, who also received the Safe way Stores, Inc., award. Four new members attend ed. They are Margie Lehman, Allen Hertz, Alice Krambeal and Kathy Pritchard. The next meeting will ba Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in tha Eagle Point Community building. Welfare Meeting Due in Pendleton Salem OIPD - The Umatilla County Public Welfare Com mission will be host in Pen dleton Nov. 30 to the fourth of a second scries of quarterly district sessions of the Stata Public Welfare Commission. The meetings are being held in six districts. There will be discussions o! public welfare programs, and a qucstion-and answer pe riod In which the public i encouraged to participate, An drew F.
