They are Mrs. Dorothy Tolirf. son, who is teaching second grade; Maurice Nelson, fourth grade teacher and assistant thletic coach; and Mrs. Co- inne Kane, fifth grade home room teacher and art, musie and penmanship teacher toe trades five and six. Forty-one more students en. tered Griffin Creek this year in September than in Sentem- ber. Thirty-two of our students accompanied by Mrs. Myrna Frink, principal, attended the Marine Band concert at Hed rick Junior High school. On Oct. 4 Martin Holme and Clyde Faichner v'tsUed our school and installed our School Safety Patrol. Ve had a regular school assembly and school yells and songs wets led by yell leaders. Bicycles were inspected re- cently by the sheriff and Bo land Griffith. Many of our students passed the inspec tion, received stickers and participated in the Bicycla Rodeo, The school savings siamp program is in full swing. The PTA assists and we hope all students will soon be able to start savings stamp book. Sirs. Waiter Roemer. PTA chairman, said the students Invest an average of S40 each week ill stamps. Participating in the half time were the Crater Band under the direction of Nor man Carothers and the Cra ter Commetles under the di rection of Mrs. Jean Pope. A pep rally was held at th new Crater stadium Thurs day, and Friday during sev enth period, a serpentine es corted the cars holding th princesses to the parking kt of Fabrrs Market where a jsep rally with class compvir Hon was held.
