"We never recommend self-polishing wax for wood floors ! . . . says Henry M. Tobey, Research Director of the world's largest hardwood floor maker "Self-polishing waxes are wonderful for linoleum, tile and vinyl but not wood floors. The reason? Most of them are made primarily of synthetic plasties which are impossible to remove from wood floors without damaging the finish or the wood. The remit coat after eoat of old self polishing wax piles up and your wood floor darkens and discolors. To take care of your wood floor the right way, we recommend Bruce Clean ing Wax or Rruce Floor Cleaner. Both contain a remoruble liquid paste wax and n waterless wood floor cleaner. They clean; remove the old wax; and leave a rich, new coat of gleaming paste wax protection all al the same time! For lighter waxing and cleaning badly soiled floors, use Hitter Floor Cleaner. Where a heav y wax coat is desired, Bruce Cleaning Wax is best. It's the easiest and right way to keep wood floors clean and bright."
