These teams scoied verdicts respectively of 25 to 7 and 27 to 7 over the Pelt of Klamath FaNs. Against The Dalles the Tor nado was winner by 27 to 0. Klamath tripped this same club 19 to 7. Medford goes into the KF skirmish unbeaten, untied and unscored upon in four ven tures on the field. Klamath will bring a record of two wins and three losses. But, the Pelicans are a re juvenated team and hope to catch the Tornado while on upsurge. After three losses the Pels launched thoir up swing at The Dalles. They rose higher with their victory over GP one is not expect ed to lessen Pelican confi dence for the trip to Medford. Retribution The Tornado will aim in begin a new winning streak against the Klamathitcs. Med ford also will seek retribution Last year the Pels fired tp at Rook roster numbers only 32 men, but individually ii con sidered to pack fine potential for future varsity teams. Southern Orgon's Tom Hobbs likely will open at right tackle. The ex-Roscburg flash will play right tackle. This snapped a five-season Medford win string over KF teams. It was also Medford's only setback in 1981 in Oregon competition. And, the KF verdict cost Medford a district playoff berth. The loop crown was shared three ways by KF, Medford and GP and GP won the draw. In girding for the fracas Medford's stalwarts worked on lots of defense yesterday but offense got attention, too. Physical reports on the Black Tornado was better than a day ago. Halfback Jack Lowery, who on Monday suf fered a bruise above the knee in drill, was Deiler yesterday. He was in shorts jogging around but still limping Tack le Gary Miller, who was hos pitalized because of a knee infection, was due to return to the squad today. End Roy Shaw, who missed last week's game because of illness, re joined the Tornado yesterday. Enyart May Start If Lowery is unable lo start tomorrow, the left half call may go to Bill Enyart, 188 pound sophomore shifted from fullback. Larry Sander is ex pected to get the tackle call over Miller. Gibb Mitchell may start at defensive flank rather than Shaw. For Klamath Falls, Mike Kitching is expected to be at right half again where he has filled in terrifically for Bud Wolter who has had an ankle injury. The left halfback, Gro ver Dahn, reportedly has had a carbuncle on his knee and the starting assignment might go to Ben Kern. Center Holman was report ed having x-rays just what for it was not said and heftier John Enright might have the pivot call. Guard Mike McKibbon, who has been out of action because of in jury, might start in place of Jon Elliott. Unofficial Stats Unofficial statistics of Med ford's four games lo date show that the Black Tornado has outgaincd the opposition 1,141 yards to 465 in net scrimmage. Medford has madfl 774 yards on the ground and :tH7 in the air to figures :trI2 and KM for rivals. First downs have favored the Hurricane 51 to 25. Jack Lowery has been Medford's main ball packer with 268 yards in 62 carries. Frank' Van Pelt Is 117 yards for 25, Mike Barnes 108 for 27, Dan Miles 77 for 24, Tim Miirran SB for 14 and Mike Watkins 73 for 11. Miles has completed 17 of 31 passes for 327 yards and Mike Nealhamrr four tif 15 for 40. Lloyd llammons has been the main receiver with nine catches lor 19R yards. Lowery has caught four for 51 and Gibb Mitchell three for 55.
