There even was a 21-gun salute, which has been used in the past at ceremonies at Wash ington's National Airport. For Ben Bella, it was a far cry from the French prisons where he spent six years be fore emerging to take over leadership of the newly inde pendent Algerian nation. The unexpected addition lo the spectacle was the noises of children's laughter and shouts, emerging from the third floor play school where Caroline and her friends were watching through the win dows. It had been planned that the President's daughter and her 20 playschool and kinder garten playmates could watch the honors from the balcony. But at the last moment the youngsters were kept Indoors. Kennedy kept a serious ex pression on his face as the children's voices could be heard mimicking the orders given during the military re view. "Attention," shouted a little boy whose voice rever brated from the mansion. "Forward! March!" Kennedy kept looking up ward at the balcony as though expecting the children to come running out. No agenda has been an nounced for the Kennedy-Ben Bella talks but there were in dications the two leaders would touch upon possible U.S. aid to Algeria and Ben Bella's two-day visit to Cuba, which starts Tuesday. Bettiol said he would talk to Pete Logan, Dark Hollow rd., about his letter to the county court questioning the sheriff's o((ice giving "all the business" lo Rogue Flying Service. Bettiol said Rogue Flying Service had approached For mer Sheriff Joe Walsh several times.
