The Inorganic ele ments, it cannot absorb, ex cept a limited amount of com mon salt. So, if you hear that you need iron or copper in your blood don't eat rust or verdigris. Verdigris is a dead ly poison and rust is no good for you. Hence, it is logical to as sume that fluorine is unaccep table. Chlorine is an inorganic element and is found in a small amount in common salt. It is a germ -killer and has long been used in the water supply of big cities to kill malaria germs. But, from what I know, it can do harm. While living in San Francisco and Seattle I drank such water for 35 years, when, at the age of 66 I found it irritated my bladder and urethra. I asked a druggist one day how to get rid of the chlorine in the water. He said, "all you have to do is to boil it for a couple of minutes, the chlor ine is volatile." So after that did so and the irritation stopped. So, as it looks to me, fluorine and chlorine are con troversial subjects. John E. Ring 1048 West list st. Med ford . Do You Know? Pharmacopeia), the waste product of aluminum which, like arsenic, builds up in the tissues of your body and never completely elimi nated, no matter how small the dosage? Do you know: the A.M.A. has never officially "en dorsed" it? That those who want it for their children can be sup plied fluoride tablets at a fraction of the cost of -mass fluoridation? That 99 per cent never touches the teeth of chil dren but goes down the drain as dish water, clothes wasn ing and lawn water, etc! Do you know: that more than 2000 cities in the U.S. have rejected fluoridation, or voted it out after finding the damage it does to both health and the corrosion of water pipes and plumbing and that mass-fluoridation is a medica tion that you will have to drink whether you want to or not? Do you know: that in the s'ate of Michigan, 83 phy sicians and dentists, "names on file," petitioned the Gov ernor to call a halt on the Michigan state health depart ment of promoting fluorida tion, as the "proof of benefit" is highly contradictory? That there was evidence of harm being done to the population, and no man has the right to force another to take a dan gerous drug against his will? Ask your dentist or doctor if they will accept personal responsibility for any ill ef fects you suffer from fluori dation water. Ask them to sign such a statement. Marjorie Cowan 723 Marshall ave. Medford The Flesh Profits Nothing To the Editor: We find in Genesis (3-1 to 14) that Adam and Eve knew they were naked and were ashamed after they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They made aprons of sewed fig leaves. But God was not satisfied with just aprons, so God made them both coats of skins, and clothed them. (Genesis 3-21). Since so many, know no shame they must not have eaten of the knowledge tree of good and evil. Just the evil part, but not of the good part since they know no shame. When the man of Luke (8 26 to 40) was possessed by a legion of evil spirits he wore no clothes, and was insane. But when Jesus cast them out he had his right mind and was clothed. So it should not be difficult to understand why some know no shame. He did not until he came In contact with Jesus. It takes conversion and belief of the Bible to know shame. Why? If we do not like to retain God in our knowledge he will turn us over to a reprobate mind. And allow us to worship the creature more than God, and allow them to dishonor their own bodies among them selves. And to uncleaness. Why? Because God gives them up to uncleaness. Some worship dogs, while some , worship nude bodies. But S they are without excuse sinre I God has shown them the right way. but they do not like to retain God in their knowledge. Ephesians (4-17). This I say therefore, and tes-! lify in the Lord that ye hence- worth walk not as other Gen tiles walk in the vanity of their mind. Why? Verse 18, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is In them, because of the blindness of their heart. Verse 19, Who being past feeling have giv en themselves over unto las civiousncss to work all un cleaness with greediness. If we walk after the flesh we shall die, and not enter heaven (Gal. 5-16 to end, Ro mans 8-1 to 16). And are enemies of God (James 4-4). The Lord forbade them to see their own relatives' nakedness in Leviticus 18th chapter. How much worse to sec strangers. Fig leaf aprons were not sufficient to please the Lord, so how much more He must be displeased with the two straps or strings some females wear. Or to be in the nude. If sex is not desired, why do they not have separate camps for each sex instead of mixed groups? There must be plenty of sex yet when some are curious about the little (or much) not seen. Converted Christians (not just church members) find that the nude body is too much like a chicken that has lost all of its feathers. It is repulsive. The flesh profits nothing (SI. John 6-63). Any thing that disagrees with the Bible is just traditions of men and in vain. (Matt. 15-1 to 15, Mark 7-1 to 13). G. C. Cunningham 748 Maple st. Central Point, Ore. The Dead Return To the Editor: Harold Reith of Shady Cove, believing the dead cannot communicate with the living, quotes the Old Testament. True, the be loved dead - the just - could not communicate with the living before Christ. They were held in Limbo a tem porary hell until Jesus visit ed them immediately follow- , ing His burial and liberated 1 them into eternal freedom. 1 Jesus then instituted the , new spiritual freedom in His i appearance to the Apostles just before His Ascension and, at that time, rebuked St. Thomas for not believing. He could appear and visit with them. Mr. Reith, and his sin cere kind, know the words of God but they do not know God. Naturally, like St. Thomas, they doubt the won dcrous changes that ever oc cur in the mysterious ways of God. Mm. Reith doubts the sim ple initimatinn of my recent letter that God visited our West for the first time in all its ages this very cen tury, in our own years and dwell amongst us several vears while we wrought the Eternal Victory of War. Thousands of our beloved dead and thousands of our eligible living "in the spirit" were mysteriously summoned into awesome assembly and governed, directed and com manded Victory in World : War Two always In mystic I advance of the thus predicate forward motions of our arms on land and sea and in air. So, ever since the spiritual freedom that Jesus instituted, the beloved dead in the time of trial or whensoever God wills it have visited peace fully with the living. I know, for 1 not only lived those years with my own beloved dead but with the great Souls who so honored God and country in their lifetimes that I hope our nation is one of those that will march forever before the throne in the eternal Glory of God. "But insects developed re sistance to the organics and this has opened the door for the return of sodium fluoride. It is a distinctive green in col or and the center suggested that when you're handling any green insecticide you should be especially careful and'keep it out of the reach of children.'' Now some people want to feed it to them. People who support fluori dation apparently go on the theory that the ones to whom it is harmful, it is all right to let them suffer, in order to experiment mass medication through public water systems to sec if there are fewer cav ities for children under 12. Yet the department of agri culture in their year books says fluorine interferes with the normal calcification of teeth during the process of formation. The teeth are structurally weak and deter iorate early In life, and it is especially Important that fluoride be avoided, during the period of tooth formation, that is from birth to the age of 12 years. Fluoridation in public wa-. ter systems is forcing the wa-J tcr masters to practice medi cation without a license, de nying the people freedom of choice, which is contrary to the 1st and 14th amendments of the Bill of Rights.
