GASOLINE FIRE A molonsl drove away
from a gasoline pump at Tidewater Oil com
pany, Oak Grove rd. and Jacksonville high
way, Tuesday before the filler hose was re
moved from the gas tank. The resulting jolt,
which pulled the pumping unit from its
stand, caused a wire shortage, and the gaso
line in the hose caught fire. Medford fire
men contained the fire in the hose and
pump, but some damage to the pump was
noted. (Knackstcdt photo)
