Youngster Placed On Probation By Court Salem - H'PD - Robert Frank lin Hay, a 15-year-old Jeffer son boy who chased his moth er from their home with a shotgun Aug. 3 and then stood off police for about 20 min utes before he was taken into custody was placed on proba tion in Juvenile Court here Friday. OTTO LAYTON Otto Layton, 66, former Medford area resident, but most recently of Apache Junc tion, Ariz., died Wednesday Woman Driver Killed Near Stalled Auto she was struck by a car as she stood beside her stalled vehicle at Sweet Home, stale police reported. A car driven by John E. Gaskey, 18, Crawfordsville, came upon the stalled car from behind and struck Mrs. Ham as it attempted to swerve to avoid the car, investigating officers said. Gaskey and his passenger, Douglas R. Smith, 18, Sweet Home, were hospitalized with minor injuries, police said. Woman Enters Plea Of Guilty In Court Doris Mae Hansen, Albu querque, N. M., Wednesday pleaded guilty in circuit court to charges of larceny by bailee. A pre-sentence report was orded. The woman is charged with failure to return an eight mil limeter projector to Hudson's Pharmacy April 28 or to ac count for the property. Opal Siepak, Portland; Mrs. Lorraine Foss, Grand Coulee, Wash.; Mrs. Evelyn Groves, Seattle, Wash.; and a son, Clinton Layton, Portland, plus nine grandchildren. KENNETH MILFORD ADAMS Funeral services for Ken neth Milford Adams, 35. who died Friday night, will be held at the Perl Funeral home Tuesday at 10 a.m. John V. Heberling of the Central Church of Christ will offi ciate. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Memo rial park. Mr. Adams had lived in this area most all of his life, having been born here on April 19. 1927. He lived in Walla Walla, Wash., for a short time, before returning to the valley. He Is the son of M. A. and Ina Adams of Central Point, and he married Miss June M. Powers at Stnr buck, Wash., on July 16, 1959. He was a veteran of Wot Id War II, and a member of the Church of Christ at Central Point.
