Extensive Use

Klamath Falls - Extensive
use of recreation lacilities
continues on the Winema Na
tional forest.
According to Earl Karlin
per, Klamath district ranger,
some fine catches of fish
have been reported on the
district. Portions of the Ore
gon Skyline trial are being
reconstructed and improved.
Most of the other trails on
the district are free of snow
snd many have been main
tained this year. Many forest
travelers are visiting Four
mile lake and Lake of the
Woods, it was reported.
The Oregon State Game
commission reports it is still
not possible to restock Mil
ler lake on the Chemull dis

taries were treated several
years ago to control lamprey

being done and, according to
. the game commission, the
lake will be restocked when
il becomes non-toxic. The
game commission also con
structed an eel-pronf dam at
Miller Creek Falls tn prevent
future rcinvasion. With con
trol of lamprey established,
