Protection Of Car
Finish Is Desired
Racine, Wis.-IUPII-Your car
can get "sunburned" in sum
mer. Only it won't develop a rosy
red hue like its owner. In
stead the finish eventually
will tend to appear chalky.
Specialists in car finishes at
S. C. Johnson and Son Inc.
here say summer sunlight is a
leading cause of "burning" or
oxidation of the auto paint
"skin."
The oxidized paint forms a
dull coating that obscures the
depth and color of the finish.
The specialists said combina
tion car cleaners and waxes
remove the dead paint and
provide needed protection.
