Alto Youth
They bought a linoleum
runner for the aisle in the
sanctuary and contributed $30
to the carpet or building fund.
They were accompanied by
Glen R. Murray, youth direct
or, and Mrs. Murray.
On Sunday they sang
"Spirit of God," during the
worship service.
Stayed at Church
The group of 14 stayed in
the basement and Sunday
school building while in Fort
Jones, taking their sleeping
bags with them and cooking
their breakfasts and evening
meals In the church kitchen.
The members of the Woman's
Society of Christian Service
cooked and served the noon
meal for them.
For recreation they swam,
hiked and went sight-seeing.
On July 4 they picnicked on
Scott river. Entertainment
was also provided by Etna
and Yreka members. Miss
Janet Elsea of Yreka visited
them for one day as a repre
sentative of the Yreka MYF
and some of the Fort Jones
young people helped the
group with the project.
The trip was worked out
for the Palto Alto group by
the district superintendent of
the Methodist church.

Mr. Bentson recently re
turned to the United States
on furlough from Cordoba
Argentina where he serves as
field director of the ministries
of Overseas Crusades Inc.

team of American and Ar
gentina missionaries, minister
to nearly 20 republics of
South America through the
monthly circulation of more
than 250,000 copies of the
Gospel paper, "La Voz."
A native of Fresno, Calif.,

general contractor in charge
of the building program.

ing. The house is valued at
$14,500.

ciety will provide the hot and
cold drinks. The builders class
will furnish the games and
contests. The Shipmates class
will be the official hosts for
the picnic. They will recieve
