Doolittle, Portland, is re turning after a five years ab sunce to again become com manding officer of the Oregon Air National Guard. Slate Ad jutant General Paul Klievcr announced Monday. Doolittle will succeed Col. Waldo E. Timm. Portland, who has been commanding of ficer for the past four years. The change is effective Aug. 1. Doolittle was commanding officer and chief of staff for air five years ago when he lefl for a one year lour at the Air War college in Alabama, and four years of active duly in the Air Force.
