The fit ted horiico was accented by a matching bow and hand of Ve netian lace which formed the hricf sleeves and outlined the tronp neckline. Her full akirt formed a train and her shoul der length veil was held by a rrown nf orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white gardenias and slephan otis. Honor Attendant Miss Nan Wood, Kugene. was honor attendant for the bride. She wore a white ny lon organza frock with lace cummerbund. Her veil was nf lavender nylon illusion held by a cluster of lavender roses and she carried a bouquet of purple stock. Richard B r u n e 1 I v , San Francisco, served as besti man. Sealing the guests were Donald Hibbard, Salem, the bride's brother, and William Chittick, San Diego, brother of the bridegroom. D. Kirkland West performed the ceremony at tended by about 40 guests. Mrs. Robert Henry, Klam ath Falls, a niece of the bride, was matron of honor. Robert Webster, a non of the bridegroom, was best man. For her wedding the bride wore a turquoise silk brocad ed sheath dress with match ing jacket and white access ories. Her corsage was a pur ple orchid, a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Mark Young, Ha waii. Mrs. Henry was dressed in beige lace with matching ac cessories and she carried a nosegay centered with a pur ple orchid. Jardines Arrive For Visit Here Mr. and Mrs. John Jardinr, Hilo, Hawaii, are guests at Ihe home of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Mansfield, 201 Crater Lake avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Jardine have been visiting their daughter, Pauletto, in Ottumiva. Iowa, where she is attending college. They also visited in Chicago, Davenport, and Dcs Moines; en route to Medford they spent a week in the Bay Area with relatives and friends. Mr. Jardine, who is assist ant superintendent of the Hilo hospital, will leave for llilo next week and Mrs. Jar dine will remain here for an extended visit with the Marts fields. The ceremony was held at 7 o'clock in the evening at tended by 50 relatives and friends. Mrs. J. A. Sanders, Phoenix, played the organ wedding music. The bride wore a light blue suit with white and black patent accessories. Her flow ers were pink carnations. Mrs. Jack A. Stanfield, South Gate. Calif., attended her sister. She wore a beige suit and hat with black patent accessories and pink carna tion corsage. Elbert Lowry Jr., Van couver, Wash., served as best man for his father. Seating the guests were Gary Lowry, Vancouver, Wash., another son, and Jerry Denham, Phoe nix, son of the bride. Mrs. Ima Rcdmon, Talenl, wore a pink lace dress and .hat and white carnation cor sage or her daughter's wed ding and reception which fol lowed at the church. The reception was given bv Gamma Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, of which the bride is a member. The couple vacationed in the northern California moun tains following the wedding. They will make their home in Phoenix in September. Mr. Lowry is a logger with the Fruit Growers company. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. Robert Eies land and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hedge, all Vancouver, Wash., daughters and son-in-law of the bridegroom; Mr. Stanfield and Lynn, South Gate, Calif., brother-in-law and niece of the bride; and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reynolds, Granada, Calif. Peter Kershaw To Enter Guard Peter Kershaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kershaw, While City, left Thursday after visiting for several days with his parents. He is scheduled to leave July 6 for San Antonio, Tex., to receive basic training in the Air guard, a branch of the United Stales Air Force. He will be a member iA the Air Force reserve. The nuptial mass was read in St. Agnes church and the reception held after Ihe cere mony was in Ihe House of La vton. The couple made thpir wed ding trip to Lake Tahoe. They now are living in San Francisco Miss Sara Linn Hinkle car ried three yellow roses when she became the bride of Trent Roland Ortwein in a cere mony held June 23 at First Christian church. The roses symbolized the marriage of a man, a woman and their God. The Rev. Fredrick Ross Family Arrives From Arizona Mr. and Mrs. Stephen iTom) N. Childers and son, R. Blaine Childers, Phoenix, Ariz., have been guests the past week of Mr. Childers' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Merriken, 3701 Old Stage road. Mr. Childers was a mem ber of the 1947 Medford High school graduating class which was to meet for a reunion Sat urday night at the Rogue Val ley Country club. Mr. Ortwein attended Kelso High school and North west Christian college and is a salesman for Richards Ad vertising Agency in Long-view.
