Wolgamott, 409 North Colum bus ave., and Mrs. Nellie C. Gibson, 246 Sunrise ave. Breakfast Set - A pancake breakfast honoring Central Point city and rural firemen will be held Sunday between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Cen tral Point Grange hall. Damage Minor-A more se rious blaze was averted about 4:13 p.m. yesterday when fire was found in a trash pile against the building at 808 South Riverside ave., being vacated by Saxbury Furni ture. Firemen said that the fire, which was ignited by persons unknown, did minor damage to a door frame and paint and two small windows. The building is owned by George W. Brewer, Jacksonville. Fuse Blows - City firemen were summoned to the Ray C. Jones home, 428 North Holly St., about 8:10 p.m. yes terday when a fire was re ported in an electric range. They said that a wire in the range had shorted, blowing a fuse. Permits - Building permits have been issued by the Med ford building department for the Standard Insurance com pany, 711 East Main St., to erect two offices valued at $6,000 and Purucker Music company, 111 North Central ave. to erect a balcony in the business building at a cost of $1,500. Taken to Portland-Mrs. E. W. Seggessenman, Shady Cove, was flown to Portland Thursday by Mercy Flights, Inc., for treatment of a back injury. She was the 1,427th patient to be flown by Mercy Flights, Inc., air ambulance. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Hillcrest Memorial chapel on the North Phoenix rd. The Rev. George Roseberry of the First Methodist church will officiate. Committal will be in Hillcrest Memorial park, with Conger-Morris Funeral directors in charge of arrangements. HELEN DIXON Mrs. Helen Dixon, Rose burg, died there Thursday. June 14. Mrs. Dixon was a resident of Medford for many years. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Perl Fu neral home. ORVIL CHARLES DAVIS Funeral services for Orvil Charles Davis, 77, of 136 B St., Ashland, who died Wednes day will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Litwiller's Moun tain View chapel. The Rev. R. L. Cornwall will officiate. In terment will be in Mountain View cemetery. He was born Jan. 30, 1885, in Edmark, Kans. He was married to Sarah Stinson in August, 1911, in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Davis was a building and cement contractor in southern California for about 40 years. He retired in 1943, and moved to Ashland in May, 1945. from Belflour, Calif. He was a member of the Assembly of God church in Ashland. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Davis; eight children, Mrs. Paul Folks, Golden, Brit ish Columbia; Mrs. Max Hug gins, Lomita, Calif.; Mrs. Max Burford, Lindsay, Calif.; Mrs. Robert Pederson, Mrs. Dale Mayben, both of Ash land; Charles Davis, Grants Pass; Norman Davis, Phoenix, Ariz.; and James Davis; 24 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William Burdict, Ukiah, Calif.; Mrs. Lewis Spanig, Paramount, Calif.; and Mrs. Allen DuRee, Long Beach, Calif.; and a brother, Rdl Da vis, Miami, Fla.
