OREGON Family Visits, In Wilderville Wildcrville - Mrs. Mary McDonald has as guests Mr. and Mrs. Donald McClean, Vista, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Slack, Areata, Calif. Mrs. McClean is the daugh ter of Mr. McDonald, and Mrs. Slack is Mrs. McDonald's granddaughter. The McCleans and the Slacks arc en route to Eugene where the McClean's ton, Robert, is receiving his master's degree from the Uni versity of Oregon. Social Events Women's News Hensleys Visit Ashland Home Ashland-Visiting this week in Ashland with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Reed, 84 Alida street, are their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hensley, and their two chil dren, Central Valley, Calif., where both Mr. and Mrs. Hensley have taught during the past year. Brood, Route 4, Box 420, Med ford, who was graduated June 3 from Linfield college with a bachelor of science degree in physcial education, also was the recipient of several awards during a banquet giv en by the Women's Recreation association at the college. The student received awards In volleyball and basketball; a ribbon for third place in the intramural badminton tournament, loving cup for ISO points earned in intra murals, and the best all around athlete trophy for the second time in succession. Two Graduates Are Honored Wonder - Leonard Sellers and Robert Holder were hon ored at a graduation party at the Bella Maria ranch. Guests were Christ Roland, David Hill, Michel Daft, Shanon Sellers, Robert Holder and Leonard Sellers. The event was arranged by Mr. and Mrs. Connie Sellers and Mr. and Mrs. Theadore Holder and Included a theater party. Dance Derby The Derby Hoe- downers will hold their reg ular third Friday dance on Friday, June 15 at the Derby Community hall. Dancing will begin at 8:30 p.m. Potluck re freshments will be served. Ed win Cavin will call. All inter ested square dancers are in vited. Party Given Wonder - Miss Roxle Wich ello recently gave a slumber party. Marylyn Pelree, Susan Applegatc, Sandy Samanski, Suzan Shamel, Linda Luber weckery and Darlene Jacobs attended. Peace Center Opened at Fair A peace information center is being maintained at the Seattle Century 21 Exposition, according to information fur nished by the United Nations. The center is a joint effort of several groups interested in peace, including the American Association for the United Na tions and the Seattle UN chap ter. Movies are shown, litera ture is available and a place for fair goers to rest is pro vided. "Turn Toward Peace'1 is the theme of the center. Visitor Leaves For California Mrs. Stanley Smith left Monday for her home in La guna Beach, Calif., after vis iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rinard, 1708 Thom as road, and her son, Sidney J. Smith, who makes his home with his grandparents. Mrs. Smith, a former resi dent, had come north to at tend graduation ceremonies i June 3 at Lewis and Clark college, Portland, when her son was graduated from the school. He will remain here for the summer and he plans to enroll at the University of Oregon next fall, working to wards his masters degree. His other grandmother, Mrs. Ola Smith, lives in Central Hoint. His father, Stanley Smith, was unable to be here since he is stationed with the Ma rine corps in Japan. Shannon Sellers Honored Guest Wonder - Shannon Sellers was honored on his 16th birth day with a modern version of a hayride in the back of the ranch pickup. The group went to a drive-in movie and guests were served foods enjoyed by the teen age set. Those in attendance were Miss Suzy Polk. Miss Darlene Jacobs, Miss Sharon Makie, Robert Holder and Leonard Sellers. Couple Arrives For Visit Here Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Nickell of Twisp, Wash., are visiting for several days with Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Nill, 25 Myers court. Mrs. Nickel! and Mrs. Nill are sisters and the two couples arrvtd here Friday after the IV ills had met the Nickells for a visit to the Seattle World's fair. The Nills also visited a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers at Mount Lake Terrace, Wash. Holders Entertain Guests From El Coon Wilderville - Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Holder are Mr. and Mrs. John Hinton, El Cajon, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Hinton are the parents of Mrs. Holder and came for the grad uation from high school of their grandson, Robert Holder. Guests Ashland - Week end guests at the home of Mrs. Ruby Cobb, 125 North Main street, were her daughter and family from Klamath Falls, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hooks and daugh ter Vicki. irl Scouts Troop 95 Concluding activity of the year of Brownie Scout troop 95 at Oak Grove school was an overnight camp out at the home of their leader, Mrs. June Clarke. During the year the troop also made Easter tray favors for hospital pa tients, and participated in the Pear Blossom parade. Members of the troop are Toby Barnes, Vicky Bogencr, Debbie Buswell, Julie Clarke, Marlene Erickson, Leslie Free man, Cindy Hubbard, Candy Henigan, Mary Huff, Melody Kerr, Linda Ludwig. Patti Martin, Liane Mortimer, Car olyn Parrack, Beverly Tins- To Meet Talisman Rosebud council, Pythian Sunshine Girls, will meet Thursday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at the Pythian build ing. Plans for a summer party will be made.
