FREDERIC PUHL Funeral services for Fred eric Emil Puhl, 56, of 11315 Southeast Home ave., Mil waukie, who died unexpected ly June 7 at his home will be held Monday, June 11 in the Peake Memorial chapel. Mil waukie. Ore. Mr. Puhl is a former Med ford resident. He was born here Jan. 31, 1906. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Linda Lee and Joyce Lynne, at home; his mother, Mrs. Augusta Moore; two brothers, Albert Puhl and Herbert Puhl, all of Medford; and one niece and four nephews also survive. FWMILLAND A inCOLPRno PANAViSION' Company To Seek Salem TV Channel Salem-IUPrj-A new company has been formed here with the intent of applying for channel 3 and operating Sa lem's first television station. The group is led by former Gov. Robert D. Holmes, Port land, and radio station man ager. Gene Harrison, Salem. Articles of incorporation were filed for the firm, Sal em Television Co.. Thursday. Holmes and Harrison are listed as incorporators and directors along with Iona M. Wallace, Portland. Harrison said an applica tion will be filed soon with the Federal Communciations Commission in Washington. Harrison is manager of Sal em radio station KBZY. Holmes formerly managed a radio station in Astoria. At the same time, W. Gor don Allen, Salem broadcaster, announced that the applica tion of his Willamette-Land Television, Inc., Salem, has not been withdrawn, meaning his bid for the same channel is still active.
