(UPI) County Has Four Candidates for Dairy Princess Jackson county has four candidates for Oregon Dairy Princess. Final judging will be over June 15. Candidates are Georgia' Hubbard, Eagle Point, Connie ! McDonough, of the Jackson county agricultural stabiliza tion and conservation office, Barbara Gysin, Coal Mine rd., and Karen Jossy, Eagle Point. The candidates are avail- j able for various club mect- ings, according to George Holt, Phoenix, chairman of the June Dairy Month cele bration. Local winners of various county contests become eligi ble to compete in the state contest June 25 and 26 when Oregon's first lady of the dairy industry will be crown ed in Portland. Princess Barbara Steinfeld. Scappoose, will crown her successor and the new prin cess will receive a $350 ward robe, a scholarship and a trip to Chicago to enter the Ameri can Dairy Princess contest. Single girls between 16 and 25 with a dairy farm back ground, were eligible, Holt said. Chairman of the stale con test is John Eberhard, Red mond. Mrs. Ernest Radomske and L. F. Buchanon, of Jackson and Josephine counties, re spectively, are county chair men of the contest. Oregoa Supreme Court Decisions Salem -d'PH- A man who was hurt when a car hit his truck head-on at a bridge on the CorvallisLebanon high way had his judgment of $12, 500 affirmed by the Oregon Supreme Court Wednesday. Winning the judgment was Rufus E. Hiddleson, Albany. The other motorist. Mrs. Violet 1. Ross, was killed but Hiddleson sued her estate, through Administrator Ray mond Ross. The decision supporting Linn County Circuit Judge Wendell H. Tompkins was written per curiam, or by all seven members of the high court. In a Clackamas County case, Louis C Thomas, a log ger, won S-.T24 from his employer under the Employ ers' Liability Act in another personal injury matter. Thom as was injured while loading a log truck. Other Decisions: Donald R.
