Konsehot, 76, of 1356 Siski- I you blvd., Medford, who died Friday, will be held at Perl Funeral home at 10:30 a.m. j Monday. The Rev. George Bol ; ster, rector of St. Marks Epis- I copal church, will officiate. Committal services, by offi cers of the Masonic lodge, will be at Siskiyou Memorial park. Mr. Konsehot, the snn of Frederick Knoschot and Caro I line Williams, was born at Newark, N. J , Oct. 28, 1885. He was self employed as a meat cutter ana packer in Kent, Wash., from 1908 to 1930 and in Klamath Falls I from 1930 until his retire j ment in 1945. He moved to Tacoma, Wash, in 1945 and i to Medford in 1960. He was a member of the Episcopal church in Kent, Wash., past master of Verity Masonic Lodge 59, past pa- i tron of Valley City Eastern Star Chapter 72, Royal Arch i Masons of Kent, Wash., and Hillah Temple Shrine, Ash land. He was a past noble grand of IOOF Lodge in Kent, Wash. In 1908, in Butte, Mont., he was married to Mina Stein ! seifer, who survives. Other survivors include one I son, Fred O. Konsehot, Med- ! ford; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth C. Palmer, Medford, Mrs. Mildred J. Burke, Klam- I ath Falls; one brother, Ernest Konsehot, Kearney, N. J.; eight grandchildren and sev- ; en great grandchildren. ROBERTS Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Catherine Roberts, 52, of 2476 Spring st., Medford, who died Thursday, will be held at Perl Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Clynton G. Crisman, pastor of the Friends church, will offi ciate. Committal services, by R. J. Ritchey and officers of the Grange, will be in Siski you Memorial park. I Mrs. Roberts, the daughter of Henry Hanson and Iva S. Webster, was born May 21, 1909, at Medford. She was a charter member ' of the Roxy Ann Grange, a member of the state and na- i tional Grange, and a past of ficer of the Jackson County Pomona Grange. Prior to her illness, she was the chaplin of the Roxy Ann Grange. She j served as a stale delegate to the national Grange several times. On Due. 18, 1930, in Med ford, she was married to Ros- coe Roberts, who survives. MYLES LESLIE FARMER Myles Leslie Farmer, 56, of Dorris, Calif., member of a prominent pioneer Ashland family, died Thursday in Klamath Falls. Funeral serv ices will be held in Ashland at 3 p.m. Monday at Litwiller's Mountain View chapel with Rev. Marshall Horn of Dor ris officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View ceme tery. Farmer was born Dec. 12, 1905. Mr. and Mrs. John W, Farmer have the family home on Tolman Creek rd., Ashland. He spent his boy hood here, graduating from Bellview school and Ashland Senior High school. Follow ing graduation he spent two years in Astoria and a time in Portland, returning to mar ry Neva Byrd of Ashland on Dec. 12, 1933. The couple was married in Medford and made their home in Ashland for a time before moving to Dorris. He is survived by his widow, Neva; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Cooper, and two grandchil dren, Deniece and Bruce of Metaline Falls, Wash.; his fa ther, John W., of Ashland; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Slo gher, Mrs. Amy Curtis and Mrs. Genevieve Byrd, all of Ashland; and six brothers, Earl, Ivan, Harry, Glenn and Daniel, all of Ashland, and Chester of Gresham. directors in charge of arrange ments. Mr. Jarman was born Feb. 29, 1888, i n Springfield, Nebr., and had lived in south- em Oregon for 25 years. He was employed for 12 years at the Talent Experiment farm, retiring in 1960. He was married June 30, 1915, in Winona, Minn., to Mary Etta Fishbum, who sur vives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor 'Jolz, Phoenix; a brother, LaVern Jarman, North Platte, Nebr., and three grandchildren, Mar garet Ann Bolz, Richard Per ry Bolz, and Diane Mary Bolz, all of Phoenix. Casket bearers will Include Harold White, John Yun gen, Hollis Olson, Roy Bolz, E. J. Bolz and Merle Simmonds. Lo Local and Persona 3 Lisneliters Tickets Still Available Ovsn Fire - Medford fire men reported hat a plastic tray left in an oven at the Plaza Apartments, 235 South Oakdale ave., ignited shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday, caus ing considerable smoke and some minor damage. I h e apartment was occupied by Mrs. E. Andrews. Flue Fire - A flue fire was reported at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of Jay C. Coch ran, 63 Bush st., Ashland. There was no damage. Guild to Meet - St. Cath erine's guild of St. Mark's Episcopal church will meet Monday, May 14, at 8 p.m. in the Guild hall to make final preparations for annual card party to be held Tuesday, May 15, at the church. Jacobson, district manager of the Social Secur ity Administration, will ex plain aspects of the Social Se curity program at the Mon day noon luncheon of the Chamber of Commerce Round Table. Jacobson has been in vited to speak in rebuttal to the remarks of a Roundtable speaker several weeks ago who criticized the Social Se curity program. The Round- table meets at North's Chuck Wagon. Attends Meeting - Lou Cranston, of the Goldy-Crans-ston-Henselman Agency, Med ford, attended an agent's edu cational meeting in Gearhart, Ore., late last week. The meeting was conducted by the U. S. Fidelity and Guarantee Insurance company. FLOYD P. JARMAN Floyd Perry Jarman, 74 of Phoenix, died Friday after noon in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Hill- crest Memorial chapel on the North Phoenix rd. The Rev. King K. Jones of the Jack sonville Presbyterian church will officiate. Committal will be in Hillcrest Memorial park, with Conger -Morris Funeral Tickets for the Limeliters. a trio of folk singers and veteran entertainers who have appeared on the Dinah Shore show, the Ed Sullivan show, and in several night clubs in the country, are still avail able for their performance at Hednck Junior High school Monday. The Limeliters appearance here is sponsored by the Southern Oregon college stu dent body. According to Duane Jarni- gan, Ashland, who heads the ticket committee, the reserve section is nearly filled, but a number of choice seats- still remain. Jarnigan pointed out that tickets would be on sale at the door prior to curtain-time at 8 p.m. Non-college students may obtain special rates by obtaining their tickets in ad vance at Purucker's Music House, Medford; The Mart, Ashland; the Melody House, Grants Pass; or at the college business office. Publicity cochairmen, Betty Duffy and Jim Bjork, Ash land, reported that the over all support for the Limeliters' appearance has been acceler ating. , Clean-up Day A clean-up day for Trail cemetery is planned Saturday, May 19.
