With the one out Larry Mason was walked intentionally to fill the bases. Harold Allen beat out a squeeze play runt for a single, scoring McNichols, and on a overthrow of third base Pat terson tallied ending the game. In Mrdford s seventh inning battinf Dick Breedon and Bill Piche were hit by pitches, Gary Griffin tripled them home and he scored himself on an error on the relay from the outfield. "I am certain he will race again," Walker said. "But if he asks me what to do, I shall tell him to retire." Moss's parents also have said they intend to ask their son to quit the track. "I have never asked him before," Mrs. Moss said. "But I think I shall when he re covers sufficiently."
