Peace Corps Tests
Scheduled April 21
Peace Corps placement
tests will be given Saturday,
April 21, in civil service com
mission testing centers
throughout the country. All
tests will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The Peace Corps test cen
ters located near Medford are
in Klamath Falls and Rose
burg. In Klamath Falls the
center is located in the post
office building, and the Rose
burg center is in room 203
in the federal building.
Questionnaires are avail
able at post offices. Interested
persons who have not yet
filled out questionnaires will
be permitted to take the tests
and will be accommodated on
a "space available" basis.

80 Acres of Park Site Leased by BLM To State of Oregon

land management is leasing
80 acres of O and C forest
lands at the confluence of the
East and West Forks of the
Illinois river to the state of
Oregon for public recreation
development, BLM State Di
rector Russell E. Getty an
nounced today.
The lands in Josephine
county, adjacent to Highway
199, are suited to camping,
picnicking, swimming, and
general public recreation use.
Getty said the area will be
called Illinois Fork State
Park. The state parks division
of the Oregon highway corn-

physical education.
An applicant must be an
American citizen and at least
18 years. There is no upper
age limit. Married couples
without dependent children
may apply, providing both

interior has set this low rate
to aid state and local govern
ments in developing public
recreational facilities. BLM

surface and mineral resources
of the tract consistent with its

vorite fishing stream in Jose
phine county. Areas adjacent
to the public land tract being
leased by BLM are in private
ownership, and are not avail
able for general public recrea
tion use. Therefore, the BLM

door recreation needs of the
