Plans Sunday Trip

the auto Industry in a new
round of contract talks this
summer.
About 3,000 delegates at
tending a special convention
will adopt a specific set of
goals for the UAW in the
forthcoming negotiations with
automakers.
UAW President ' Waller P.
Reuther was scheduled ' to
open ,the convention with a
keynote address outlining the
union's broad objectives.
Tonight the 3,000 delegates
and 2,000 guests will attend
an anniversary dinner mark
ing the UAW's 25th birthday.
The union ' was founded in
South Bend, Ind., April 27,

X15 Could Change
Course of History

the X15 rocket plane to the
cotton gin, the locomotive and
the automobile as a develop
ment that could change the
course of history.

X15, said the Soviet man-In-space

Hospital Receives Copy of Pledge
A ''copy of the Florence
Nightingale pledge has been
sent to Sacred Heart hospital
by the business firm, Holllster
Inc., in commemoration of Na
tional Hospital week 1 May
7-13, according to Sister Luke,
administrator at the hospital.

niversary of the birth of Flor
ence Nightingale," the com
