I picked up this informa
tion, along with a free cup of
strong brew, at a "coffee
hour" which the bureau spon
sored Tuesday in the old Su
preme Court chamber in the
capitol.
Among those partaking of
its hospitality was Mrs. Lady

use in measuring coffee.

Professional Photographers of
America, Inc., as official "7

Portrait members of PP of
A throughout the country
have agreed on seven specific
childhood ages which they
say should be captured with
professional portraits to build
permanent records of a child's
growing years. The recom

Importance of the ages is

A friendly press agent who
happened to be standing near

which holds two tablespoons
of coffee, had been adopted
by the bureau as the "stand

coffee.
"We're trying to give one
to Jackie," he confided.
Seek Surplus Use
I also learned, between
sips, that Latin American
countries whose economies
are largely dependent on cof
fee exports are trying to find
new ways to use surplus products.
Among other things, they
are turning coffee beans into
fertilized and making them
into a paste fodder for cattle.-.
I would think, however.
their best hope for a profit-
making sideline would be a
new product now on the mar
ket in Brazil: Somebody , in
that country has invented coffee-flavored
lipsticks.
It seems to me that lip
stick like that ought to go
over big in the United States.
