Recent re ports on re sults of well planned, well executed sight p rograms showed, pro d u c t i o n in- Bechtoid creases of 15 to 20 per cent; sharp reduc tion in spoilage and breakage: lessening of labor . turnover; a decline in absenteeism. Short-term " sick leave for federal employes cost me tax ' payers $315 million according to the study. Federal workers average 7.7 days of paid leave . for short-term illnesses.
