No entry has been received
from Bill Eggers, Rose City,
Portland. However, Eddie Ho
gan, Riverside, Portland, who
took the prize in 1959 will
compete, as will Bob Duden,
Oswego, who was runnerup
that year.
Three Out-of-state
Among those slated to con
tend this time are Boots Por
terfield, Crants Pass, who was
third in 1960 and Glen
Spivey, Glendover, Portland,
who took fourth.
There is no list available
here of amateurs who will
be accompanying the pros.
John Hagey, Eastmoreland,
Portland, had amateur low
gross for the three days last
spring. DeRoss Kinkade, Cot
tage Grove, took that honor in
1959.
At least three out-of-state
pros are in the field. They
include Harry Clow, Royal
Oaks, Vancouver, Wash.;
George Titchwell, Redwood
Empire club. Fortuna, Calif.,
and Jack Travis, Red Bluff,
Calif.
