Roseilini, in his inaugural message to a joint session of the Washington Legislature Wednesday, urged further ne gotiation with Oregon officials toward construction of an As-toria-Megler toll bridge. "Negotiations are under way with Oreeon tn spo if tl-iA Astoria-Megler bridge can be built as a joint venture," he said in discussing highway and bridge proposals. "This proj ect must be pursued." Legislative committees of the neighboring states have been unable to reach agree ment on sharing of construc tion costs for the lower Co lumbia crossing. Ferries now provide service between the two cities.
