Dow, 618 West Second st., Medford, a centuries-old firearm used In Japan's civil wars was offi cially returned recently. Accepting the gift was May or Juro Suzuki of Odawara City In Kanagawa Prefecture for display in his city s mu seum. The presentation was part of the Army s Japan pro' gram to assist in the return of war trophies to Japan. Colonel Dow reportedly ac quired the weapon while serv- lng in Japan about 1948.
