Warner has been a long-time and vigorous sup porter of the Rogue River Val ley, and has watched the area grow and prosper in the six decades that he has been a resident of this community. He came to Medford with his parents from Nebraska in 1894, who built a home a year later on a plot of ground which is now designated as 519 South Oakdale Avenue. Mr. Warner has resided at this residence through the years. In 1933 W. J. Warner re tired from the U. S. Post Of fice as postmaster after 30 years of continuous . service and expanded his hobby of raising gladioli by going in to tile wholesale bulb business which he operated until 1952 when his son, Gordon, took over and has continued ope rating since that time. Mr. Warner also has two daughters, Winnifred, living in Caldwell, Idaho, and Mar garet, who lives in Palm Springs, California. Mr. Warner and Mary Colvig Warner celebrated their 50th wedding anniver sary July 1957. H. J. FIELD Vice President-Director H. J. Field has been a resi dent of the Rogue Valley and has been associated in the shoe store business since the year 1911. He has been actively en gaged in many civic and fra ternal organizations of the the community, serving on city government committee and offices. - Although Mr. Field resides on Fairview Drive in Med ford with his wife Berna, has had small ranch in the Seven Oaks district for many years, and a strong supporter of the 4-H club of Jackson county. Mr. Field has been a loyal - and strong supporter of this valley and its people. TAYLOR Vice President, Attorney Director Glenn O. Taylor, well known throughout Rogue Val ley, is vice president and at torney for Jackson County Federal. The Oregon State Bar Assn. recently gave recog nition to him for 50 years in the law profession. In addi tion to his being an attorney, he has held various public of fices in Medford and a former member of the Oregon State Legislature. - : During the year Mr. Tay lor has resided in Medford, he has diligently worked to wards the growth and de velopment in the Rogue Val ley. PLETSCH " Secretary-Treasurer Director J. H. Pletsch joined the staff of Jackson County Fed eral in December of 1945, shortly after becoming assist ant manager and assistant secretary. In 1951 he was elected as Secretary-Treasurer and Manager of the as sociation, later becoming a director on the board. Pre vious to his joining the staff at Jackson County Federal, Mr. Pletsch had 12 years of banking experience and also was an underwriter for the Mutual Life of New York In surance Company. During the 15 years he has resided in this community, J. H. Pletsch has always taken a keen interest in civic ac tivities, serving on many com mittees and a past president of the Medford Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Kiwanis Club and served as director of the Shake spearean Festival Association. In November of this year he was elected director for the State of Oregon of the U. S. Savings & Loan League a national savings and loan trade organization, also past JOHN P. MOFFAT Director John P. Moffat is well known in the Rogue Valley, and takes an active part in the community affairs. He is the principal owner of the Mann's Department Store. He recently was elected director of the Chamber of Commerce and a director of the Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital. . Mr. Moffat has always been a strong supporter of the ; Rogue Valley. He resides with his wife Mary, and son William who is also associated with his father in business on Berkeley Way in Medford. E. H. SINGMASTER Director The youngest member on the Board of Directors is E. H. Singmaster, who has re sided in Ashland for the past 15 years, is a partner in the Firm Singmaster & Jones In surance Agency of Ashland. Mr. Singmaster.. is well known in the Rogue Valley and takes an active part in the activities of - the com munity. He is a director of the Oregon Insurance Agents, on the Jackson County Board of Equalization board, the Ore gon Civil War Centennial Commission, Ashland Cham ber of Commerce, and a past president of the Shakespear ean Festival Association. He resides on an acreage on the South Pacific High way with his wife Clara, son Edwin Jr., and daughter Carol who is attending Oregon State college. J.C.F. Sponsoring 4-H Club Calendar,. Mr. and Mrs. Pletsch have two children, Jim who at tends the University of Ore gon and Jean, who attends the Southern Oregon College in Ashland, and reside at 18 Willamette Street in Medford. SETH M. BULLIS Director Scth M. Bulhs has been a resident of this community since 1913, and in 1918 start ed to work for the California Oregon Power Company and is still with that organization. Mr. Bullis has worked with numerous civic activities of this area namely the Red Cross Society, of which he is a life member, the Civic Music As sociation, Boy Scouts of Amer ica. In the over 40 years that he has resided in this valley, Mr. Bullis has seen the area pros per and grow and has always been a positive influence to ward the growth of the Rogue Valley.
