They took the trip last summer, and toured England, France, Germany, Italy and Belguim. On - the display table Mrs. GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS! (UPI Telephoto) Volunteers To Be Honored at Tea More than , 300 regularly scheduled volunteer workers of the Veterans Administra tion Domiciliary at White City will attend a tea in their honor Thursday, Oct. 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Em ployees' club at the. Domicil iary. - ' The tea is. given each year by staff personnel to honor and encourage volunteers who donate their time to helping the disabled veterans. The volunteer workers ac cumulate over 25,000 hours service annually in supple menting the social work serv ice, nursing service, personal services, recreation, manual arts therapy, library service and corrective therapy. During the business session, standing committees made re ports. A vote of thanks was given to all those who helped to redecorate the powder room. Mrs. O. T. Wilson, HEC chairman, reported a success ful rummage sale and express ed appreciation to the ladles for participating. Mrs. Gaston Floux, chair man of the recreation com mittee, announced that a so cial night is planned Oct. 29. The Foley's will show more pictures of Europe, and the remainder of the evening will be a card party. The women's degree team will confer the first and sec ond degree on a class of candi dates at the regular meeting A 7 Friday, Oct. 21. Ang Grange having candidates is welcome to bring them to Central Point Grange. . . Mrs. Cyphers of Sams Val ley Grange was a guest at the last meeting. The serving committee for the evening in cluded Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Young, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hammond. Eagle Point Grange At the last meeting of Eagle Point Grange, the charter was draped in memory of G. E. (Dad) Cowden. He was a charter member of the Grange.
