Portland - (UPD - The Oregon Slate Public Welfare commis sion Friday officially approv ed its 1961-63 blennium bud get of $92.3 million. The com mission earlier empha sized the amount is only 310 of one per cent over the current budget of $92 .million, The new totals were first announced Sept. 19. The budget Is some $11 mil lion over the target budget set up by the department of finance and administration, That total was $81.2 million. Commissioner Gerson Gold smith of Portland said the group had no basis arbitrarily to cut the case-load estimates. He said he had no information on. what basis was used by th finance department In set ting up the target. Two Accidents Are Reported Here A "stuck gas pedal" was given as the cause of one of two traffic accidents reported to Medford police' .Thursday. There were no reported In juries In either of the accidents.
