The bride, a daughter of Mrs. Paul Jones of Central Point, was attended by her two sisters and so it was that all five of Mrs. Jones' children were in the wedding party. Editor, Wife Now Residing Near Gold Hill Mr. and Mrs. R. J. McGin- nis are making their home at route 3, box 356, Gold Hill, following Mr. McGinnis' de cent retirement as editor of the Farm Quarterly, Cincin nati, Ohio. Their home is on the Rogue river. Mr. McGinnis is still chair man of the editorial board for Farm Quarterly, which he founded. It has a circulation of about 500.000. He has also been head of the journalism department at Miami univer sity and a writer for Associat ed Press. He is a free lance writer and is author of a new book "The Good Old Days (An In vitation to Memory", which Harper Bros, will bring out October 6. Another book with the same format, "Good Old Days in the West," will also be published by Harper. Mr. McGinnis still writes articles for the Farm Quarterly, Read er's Digest, and other publica tions. The writer and his wife, Emm, are Building a new home on the Rogue. look Hand yiii wear Twin Brothers Escort Bride Central Point Miss Pau line Jones, daughter of Mrs Paul Jones, 235 Laurel street, and" the late Mr. Jones, oe- came the bride of Philip Charles Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Lester Stevens, 98, Freeman road, September 2. The single-ring ceremony was read by Clynton Crisman at Medford Friends church at seven o'clock in the evening before about 100 guests. Bas kets of pink and white gladi oli decorated the church and white satin bows with pink gladioli tips marked the pew ends. The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her twin broth ers, Donald and Ronald Jones. Her ballerina-length gown was fashioned with white nylon net over satin. Her shoulder-length veil was held by a crown of white satin and pearls and she carried a bouquet of pink and white gladioli centered with a corsage of pink lilies. Attending the bridegroom were Oscar Privette, his uncle, and Randy Stevens, his brother. For the event the bride's mother wore a dress of blue silk print with matching ac cessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a white brocade frock and matching accesso ries. Both mothers wore cor sages of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Crisman played the wedding music and Mrs. Harold Allen sang. A reception was given by the bride's mother in the church parlors. Mrs. R. B. Langston was in charge and Mrs. Milo Hardin and Mrs. Clem Finley, Medford, assist ed. Flowers were arranged by Mrs. Worth Coulsen. Pink tapers, with pink net and flower nosegays, flanked the wedding cake. Mrs. Alvin Roberts cut and served the wedding cake, as sisted by Mrs. Ronald Jones, sister-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Lillian Homolke poured coffee. Miss Linda Dysinger, cousjn of the bride, and M.S. Oscar Privette, aunt of the bridegroom, poured punch. In charge of the guest book was Miss Joann Privette, aunt of the bridegroom. Mrs. Donald Jones, the bride's sister-in-law, and Miss Kristi Stevens, sister of the bridegroom, took charge of the gift table. The bride attended Central Point schools and is em ployed by A and W Drive-in. The bridegroom, who gradu ated from Crater High school, is serving in San Diego with the United States Navy aboard the USS Watchman. Your Charge WtSidts Leave After Visit Here Mr. and Mrs. Warren C. Wendt and children, Thomas, Daniel and Susan, San Diego, left the valley Sunday after a two-week visit with rela tives. They were guests of Mr. Wendt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester H. Wendt, 1653 Old Stage road, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Skinner, 30 Port land avenue. They spent some time at Diamond lake and at the Skin ner cabin at Lake of the Woods, before continuing to Klamath Falls to visit with Mrs. Wendt's parents. Warren Wendt is an astro nautical engineer associated with General Dynamics, a di vision of Convair Aircraft. Tuesday at Little Theater Medford Footlighlers, little theater group, will present "Suds In Your Eye" Septem ber 13-18. The farce-compHv by Jack Kirkland, which starts at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, has a cast of 21 persons and all are character roles. These characters include policemen, Irishmen, s h i p -yard workers, a Swede, a Chinese, a teacher, sailors and, naturally, a tax collector.
