FREDENBURG Funeral services for Mrs. Eva May Fredcnburg, 82, who died at her residence 420 North Grape st., Tuesday, will be held at Perl Funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. The Rev. D. E. Millard will officiate. Pri vate committal services will be held at the Medford IOOF cemetery. Mrs. Fredenburg was born Jan. 13, 1878, an Farmville, Kan., and moved to Oregon as child, where she married Harmon Fredenburg, who preceded her in death in 1946. Mr. and Mrs. Fredenburg operated several grocery stores in this area for many years, and her husband was employed by the first fire de partment in Medford. Survivors include several nieces, one of wnom, ftirs. Jane Gillespie, lives in Med ford; and several nephews. Obituaries CLARENCE ZE1TLER Recitation of the Holy Ros ary for Cl-rence siepnen Zeitler, 81, who died at nis residence Tuesday at 105 North Oakdale ave., will be held at Perl Funeral home at 7:30 o'clock tonight. Requiem Mass will be from the Sacred Heart church Friday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. John Ilg officiating. Committal will be in mc Siskiyou Memorial park with the Spanish American War Veterans taking part. Mr. Zeitler was born Sept. 1878, in Morris, 111., and had been a resident of this area for 11 years. . He was a Spanish American War Veteran having served from 1898 to 1901 in the Navy and served on the old battle ship "Iowa." He was a retired tra nmastcr tor tne Weyer haeuser Company in Klamath Falls and Ashland. Survivors Include one daughter, M r s. Catherine Phipps, Portland; one son, Don D. Zeitler, Medford; one brother, Raymond Zeitler, Charlottesville, N. C; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. JOHN A. LYONS Funeral services for John A. Lyons of Roseburg, who died at his home Tuesday, will be held Sunday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Gantz Mortu ary in Myrtle Creek. Mr. Lyons lived in tne Mea ford area from 1924 until about 1940. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Lyons, Rose- bure. and two children, Mrs, Kathrine Payton, of Myrtle Creek, and Jack Lyons, Rose burg. MACE FREELAND Mace D. Survivors include his wife, and three children, Deneice, Linda and Chris, all at home.
