Seat everyone around a table and spread a deck of cards face down so they don't overlap. The first player picks a card, turns it right side up, and selects a second one, hoping it will have the same number. If they don't match, he turns them face down again in the exact former location, and the turn passes to the next player. Everyone tries to remember each number that turns up and where it is on the table in case he needs it for matching later on. This is where the concentration comes in. If a lucky player turns up a matching card, he removes the pair to his side and takes an other turn. When all the cards are gone, the player with the most pairs wins. Moore You can make a permanent ticktacktoe board that can be used over and over. Get a piece of cardboard about the size of a sheet of typewriter paper. Take a piece of black crayon and, using a ruler, draw a large ticktacktoe diagram on the board. When you are ready to play, use buttons instead of making circles and crosses with pencil. This saves paper. One person can use black buttons and the other white. The winner is the one who can get three buttons of his color in a row. Keep score of the number of games won by each player.
