Mrs. Glen Robertson are Mr.
and Mrs. Hugh Crabb, Beau
mont, Calif. The visitors had
been on a trip up the Oregon
, coast, and into Washington.

soloists were Dr. John Fletch
er, Roseburg, and Miss Donna
Olson, Milo, Ore.
The bride wore a gown of
chantilly lace and tulle over
taffeta with fitted bodice, long
sleeves and Sabrina neckline
decorated with irridescent se
quins and seed pearls. The
bouffant skirt had appliques
of lace and irridescent sequins
over the front panel of tulle,
and the back was a cascade
of alternating ruffles in lace
and tulle.
Her finger tip veil of silk
illusion was held by a crown
of pearls and she carried pink
rosebuds and stephanotis en
circling a white orchid.
Mr. and Mrs. Fjarli gave
their daughter in marriage.
Miss Lois Wilson, Portland,
college roommate of the
bride, was honor attendant
and other attendants were
Mrs. Louis Malm, Portland,
another roommate and Miss
Barbara Thomsen, Centralia,
Wash., cousin of the bride.
All wore frocks of pink ny
lon sheer over embossed taf
feta fashioned with close-fitting
bodices, full skirts and
puffed sleeves. They carried
fashioned bouquets of pink
gladioli matching their gowns
and wore tulle veils held by
matching headbands.
Miss Marilyn Follett and
Miss Dorothy Wells, Roseburg,
sister and cousin of the bride
groom, lighted the candles.
Their frocks were of pink em
bossed taffeta.
Wanda Wells, Roseburg,
cousin of the bridegroom, was
flower girl and Bruce Fjarli,
cousin of the bride, was Bible
boy. Wanda was dressed as a
bride.
Emil Alavezos, Roseburg,
served as best man, and Don
Christie, Roseburg, and Bob
Cunningham of College Place,

the bridegroom, were grooms
men. Seating the guests were Del
mer Fjarli, cousin of the
bride, Clyde Fjarli, her broth
er and Larry Schoefield, Rose
burg. For her daughter's wedding
Mrs. Fjarli chose a lace and
tafetta dress of dusty rose
with white accessories and
rose orchid corsage. Mrs. Fol
lett wore a beige lace dress
over pink tafetta with white
accessories and pink orchid
corsage.
Following the ceremony a
reception was held at the
Girls Community club with
Professor L. E. Russell, Milo,
as master of ceremonies.

fbrd, and Mrs. Melvin John
son, Portland, cousins of the
bride, cut and served the wed
ding cake.

ford, and Miss Lillian Konzal-

Mrs. David Haridan was in
charge of the guest book and

Mrs. Roy Wells, aunt of the
bridegroom, were in charge of
the gift table.

Contest Winner
Mrs. Louise Davis, 1514
Bryant street, was the winner
of a power workshop in a re
cent nation-wide contest spon
sored by the Pittsburgh Paint
company.
Mrs. Davis' entry, complet
ing a phrase concerning Wall
hide paint, was one of the na
tional winners.
The winner is a teacher at
McLaughlin Junior High
school.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Zol
linger, Portland, and their
daughter, Miss Betty Zollin
ger, New York, were in the
valley last week to attend
plays at the Shakespearean
festival.
Mrs. Zollinger was chair
man of the recent Oregon
Conference on Aging and is
also on the executive council
for the International Geron
tological congress which just
convened in San Francisco.
She is also a member of
the executive board of the
Oregon Council on Aging and
visited the Senior Activity
center and Rogue Valley
manor in Medford. Mr. Zol
linger is an attorney.
