Operator Cited-Gordon Dee Miller, 2101 West Main St., was cited for violation of basic rule Friday evening when his scooter hit a car operated by Granville Rogers Dorey Jr., 21 Genessee st. In jured was William Jewel Hedrick, 126 Clover lane. No medical aid was needed, po lice say. Window Broken-Morris B. Leonard Sr., 2503 Hillcrest rd., told city police Saturday morning that a window at Leonard Electric, 309 East Main st., had been "shot out" late Friday night or early that morning. William A. Barker, 2430 Hillcrest rd., also reported Saturday that a window at Barker's Men's store, 206 East Main st., had been damaged by a rock. Visits - Marine Staff Sgt. W. E. Cohee, Yuma, Ariz., ar rived in Medford Friday night for a visit with his father-in-law, F. B. Liddell, 712 New town st. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Cohee and children, Karen, Randall and Richard, left for their home. Cordy Jr., are the parents of a son, their first child, born August 15 in Rich land, Wash. The child is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clif ford B. Cordy, 21.14 Beall lane, and has been named Clifford Bernard Cordy III. Mr. Cordy Jr., is employed for the summer at the Atomic Energy commission's plant at Hanford, Wash. . He holds bachelor degrees in electrical engineering, physics and mathematics, and plans to re turn to Oregon State college in September to work towards a master's degree in engineering. JOSEPHINE FURRY Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine May Furry, Phoe nix, who died Thursday, will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary chapel, on the North Phoenix rd., Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. D. E. Millard will of ficiate. Committal will be in Phoenix cemetery, with Conger-Morris, funeral directors, in charge of arrangements. The body will lie in state to day. Mrs. Furry was born March 9, 1889, in Phoenix, and had lived all her life in southern Oregon. She was married July 31, 1910, in Phoenix, Ore., to Fredrick Milo Furry, , who died in 1953. Survivors include two sons, Norven Furry, Roseburg; Leo Furry, Phoenix; and three grandchildren, Glenda, Steven and Bob Furry. Pallbearers will be Harold Stevenson, Irving Hanscom, John Klasscn, Vincent Claf lin, A. H. MacKintosh, and Tom Caster.
