Medford Students To Attend Festival Sixty-one Medford High school students will travel by bus to Ashland Monday for the performance of Shake speare's "Julius Caesar." The bus will leave the high school at 7:30 p.m. and will arrive in Ashland in time for the stu dents to hear the singers and see the dancers. Last year a group of about 35 Medford students attended "Twelfth Night" and the "Maske of the New World." The student reaction was so favorable that the school sys tem decided to repeat the op portunity this year, it was reported. Arrangements for block seating for the students were made with Bill Patton, man ager of the Shakespearean Festival, and the seating re servations were offered to the students last April. The group will be chap eroned by the chairman of the department of English and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Semon. 4-H NEWS Crater Teena-Paige The last meeting of the Cra ter Teena Paige club was held at Mrs. Sidener's home Aug. 9. Information cards to be at tached to dresses to be entered in the fair were handed out. The main order of business was discussing the fair. Root beer floats were served by Mrs. Sidener and her daughter, Carolyn. . Sharon Trautman, Reporter. Westside Blockeri The meeting of the Westside Blockers 4-H Sheep club was held at the home of Bonnie and Mary Cheney. The meet ing wos opened by Bonnie Cheney, president. . The minutes and flag salute were dispensed with, and dis cussion took place on the fair and blocking lambs. We also talked about our new sign for fair and figured the cost wouldn't be over $8. We are collecting bottles to pay for it, and two parents are donating money. The meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served. After that those who wished went swimming. Jan Main, .
